Platform Direct allows you to segment your database based on rules you create. Simply search the database using numerous combinations or variables that you nominate. When the search list is created, export it as a group so that you can send email or SMS communications to the contacts within it.

Potential filters may include any combination of:

• Age demographic
• Geographic location (country, state, postcode)
• Gender
• Purchase history
• Have clicked on certain links previously
• Have opened certain emails previously

This is a small sample of the possibilities of which there are many. The segmentation capability is only limited by the data fields held in your database. You have the ability to extend these fields to cater for your needs.
